NETWORK NOT WIRED, COMMUNICATION VIA RADIO

In some cases there isn’t possible of using an ethernet network and install a new one might be impractical, commit a lot of time and be very costly.
With Nemo 96 HD+ and his radio module (IF96018) it will be very easy and fast to reach Midas Evo also from those points “inconvenient and cramped” in terms of wiring.

Midas Evo doesn’t necessarily have to be installed on site, you can install it where you prefer to control the instruments and remotely via the Internet, taking advantage of the ability to access measurements from anywhere in the world through the Web Server mode.

Have you problems with Midas Evo? Before you contact us, try to check if one of these solutions meets its problems

THE INSTRUMENT DOES NOT COMMUNICATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE ANY DATA If you have communication problems checking in succession:

The license key is inserted?

Always check that the license key is correctly plugged into a USB port on your PC. To confirm, you can check MidasEvo Configurator under the “License” tab:

Midas Evo Configurator is properly set?

Check if the communication channel and the node address (Modbus address) of the instrument are correctly set (fig. 1).

Check also even if the instrument is actually configured the inputato node address.
Check that the communication channels are setup properly (especially the type of protocol).
If ModBus RTU, verifies all parameters with those inserted in the instrument cluster (fig. 2).

While in the case of ModBus TCP, especially make sure you have entered the IP address in its corresponding tool node address (fig. 3).

Press the button UPDATE at the end.

The interface is on the same network?

Always check that the interface is on the same PC network.

There are firewall / antivirus activated?

Check that any security software does not block the communication MidasEvo outward.

The instruments are synchronized?

Check that you have synchronized the instrumentation

Check the synchronization all together.

Works on a Workstation?

Midas Evo can only be installed on workstations or virtual machine with USB ports support.

Midas Ages was initiated as an administrator?

Midas Ages needs administrator privileges to Start Properly.

MIDAS EVO STARTS BUT CLOSES FROM / TO CRASH ON LAUNCH / RECEIVE STRANGE ERRORS If you have trouble starting Midas Ages try to solve them as well:

Delete temporary files

If Midas Evo closed incorrectly, it could damage your temporary files;

Navigate to the project folder:

Browse Project folder
Enter the folder Recipes and delete all files with the name CalcolaConsumiCfg.rcf in different folders. Start MidasEvo and synchronize again all the instrumentation.
