The first link in the measurement chain is represented by devices that adapt the signal to be measured to the levels compatible with the instruments that then carry out the measurement and return the value. Current Transformers (CT)

They adapt the values of the primary current to the characteristics of the measuring or protection equipment, providing a secondary current proportionally reduced to the standard values 5A or 1A. The IME current transformers comply with the standards EN / IEC 61869-1, EN / IEC 61869-2 and, depending on the intended use, can be divided into:
Measure: Classes: 0.5-1-3 / Applications: counting and industrial measurements
Accuracy: Classes: 0.2-0.2s-0.5s / Applications: counting and measurement with high degrees of reliability even at the lowest current (1% In with classes 0.2s or 0.5s)
Protection: Classes: 5P5-5P10-5P15-5P20 / Applications: combined with protection relays

Voltage transformers (VT)

They adapt the values of the primary voltage to the characteristics of the measuring or protection equipment, providing a proportionally lower secondary voltage to the standard 100V values (other values on request). IME voltage transformers comply with EN / IEC 61869-1, EN / IEC 61869-3 standards and can be divided into:
Measure: Classes: 0.5-1 / Applications: counting and industrial measurements
Accuracy: Class: 0.2 / Applications: counting and measurement with high degrees of reliability
Protection: Class: 3P / Applications: combined with protection relays

Current transformers with primary winding for alternating current from 1 to 600A

They are the ideal solution for measuring currents up to 600A. The single-phase and three-phase measurement of the currents are widely used in distribution boards and cabinets.

Current transformers with cable / busbar (Primary currents: 40 ... 8000A)

By carrying out several passages (turns) of the cable inside the transformer it is possible to reduce the value of the primary current, keeping the values of secondary current unchanged, performance.

Current transformers that can be opened (Primary currents: 60 ... 5000A)

Ideal to be installed in existing systems, they can be inserted without interrupting the primary circuit or modifying the system.
